AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR YOUNG DOCTORS OF EXCELLENCE
Award for Outstanding Scientific Abstracts of Young Presenter
At the annual congress of ASEAN Society of Pediatric Surgeons (ASPS) , there will be an award for the most outstanding scientific abstracts and Scholarship of the British Association of Paediatric Surgery (BAPS) at the conference.
There will be three awards (1st, 2nd, 3rd) that will be awarded in cash (total value up to 1000 USD) for the 3 outstanding scientific abstracts voted by the judges of ASPS. For the grading criteria, please click here.
The British Association of Paediatric Surgery Scholarship
The British Association of Pediatric Surgeons Scholarship – BAPS was given to one of the few young doctors who participated in ASPS 2019. The young doctors of ASEAN that will be voted for this Scholarship must be chosen by the paediatric Surgical Society of the State. Afterward, candidates will be interviewed (in English) by the members of the Executive Board ASPS and the representatives of BAPS to select the most suitable, and qualified person.
The BAPS Scholarship is valued at £3.000. The goal is to support the attendance cost of 1 doctor at the annual conference of the Paediatric Surgery Society (In 2020 held in the city of Bruges, Belgium from 8-11 May 7/2020), and a visit to several Pediatric surgical centres in the United Kingdom.
The organizers are pleased to inform the young doctor to register for the program.
Conditions of participation candidates include:
1. Age of presenters: under 40
2. Register and attend the conference (submit registration code)
3. Scientific Resume (English) Send to the Congress email: firstname.lastname@example.org
4. Oral report in English at the Southeast Asian Foreign Children Conference 2019 (resubmitted abstracts English)
5. Fluent in speaking english
